Manufacturing Update May 6, 2020

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome, and thank you all for your incredible support, your trust, and for allowing us to be part of your ownership experiences.

Our team is extremely grateful for all the support over the past two months during the COVID-19 Crisis. We are completely overwhelmed by the generosity, and love.

From the care packages you guys, and gals have sent us of Viva soft paper towels (we wrap your parts in those), to the snack boxes, food treats, and gift cards, it’s been absolutely overwhelming.

Team BT is Here for You

When this all started about two months ago we said we would be here with you every step of the way, we would all get through it together, and that every day that passes would be a day closer to getting back to some semblance of normal. We are here for you even if you just need to pickup the phone and vent to someone.

At the end of the day our commitment to you will forever be unwavering, that it is so much more than the bling in the box, but the true connections made with you, our customers, and to the people that go far beyond the products.

Shout Out to Our Supplier Partners

We want to also thank our supplier partners who are keeping things moving for us from plating, to powder coating, to our hose and fitting supplier, and our raw materials suppliers.

We could not continue to work, and be able to provide our goods, and services, not only to our automotive clients, but our job shop clients around the United States, many of whom are supporting the pandemic efforts. Our partners are doing amazing work under difficult times, and we thank them too.

Stock Statuses

Inventory status remains pretty much unchanged from last week.

Coolant Tank Covers

Coolant tank covers we are almost done with the underside machining, and we will be flipping them over mid to late next week to finish them up.

We are running 92 units, half are sold, the other half will be on the shelf for inventory moving forward.

Satin machine finish, with no custom engraving, should start to ship sometime last the week of May 18th and into the week of May 25th.

We will start to send colors out for finishes at the end of this month too.

Valve Covers

When the coolant tanks come off the machine valve covers will be going right on. This will be the last run of valve covers. We are retiring them, so if you have been thinking about getting a set, now is the time to do so.

They won’t last long once we start machining them and we do have the coil pack covers back on the shelf.

Satin finish, with no engraving, the coil pack cover orders will ship the next day.

Orders with color, and or engraving on them, allow 20 business days. Maybe sooner, or a bit longer depending on when we send the batches out to finishes. Satin finishes on engravings do ship sooner.

Catch Cans

Satin Machine Finish Catch Cans are shipping in 3-7 business days.

If you need us to ship asap just tell one of our friendly teammates over the phone, or put in the orders notes that “you need shipment asap” and we will get you moved up in the assembly queue.

We are selling the you-know-what out of these. Thank you to our customers who have emailed, and called in saying no more to China knock off’s or complete knocked off products in general.

American manufacturing is alive and well at BT, and we have you to thank for that.

Red Went Out, Purple Back Tomorrow

We sent out a batch of standard red anodize today. Please see the table below the article for details, and feel free to reach out to us with any questions.

We are receiving the purple and matte purple batches back from plating tomorrow morning. These are from the batches that went out on April 23rd.

The table for those orders is below even though it’s not technically here, the batches will be here in the morning.

Issues With the Purple Batch

We can report that 4 cup holder bezels in that order are scrap, 1 shift plate has been scrapped, and 18 items will need evaluation.

We will reach out to those customers effected on an individual basis in the coming days. We have a fresh batch of items ready to replace the scrapped parts that need to be redone.

The matte purple should be fine and we will start to ship the stand alone catch cans on Friday. All parts that need engraving will be sorted and routed in to the shop to be completed.

Lead Time for Final Processes

Folks please remember if you see your order has come back in from plating, please allow us a couple of days to get stand alone catch cans assembled, and shipped. Orders with engravings, designer cut, etc allow us 7-14 days to complete your parts. When in doubt, or if you need them sooner, just give us a call (561.582.6171) or email us.

A friendly reminder that if you are paying via Paypal the payment is instant.

This is not our policy it’s automatic through Paypal.

We cannot control this.

If you are uncomfortable with us holding your funds until we are ready to ship your order, please reach out to us.

We will drop the coins back in to your account, and bill you when we are ready to ship.

Pursuant to our Payment Terms we will hold your order for 5 days. If we do not receive payment within 5 days we release the products back into inventory to fill the next order(s) in line.

New Update on Friday

That’s going to do it for today. We will be back again, with a new update on Friday. We are preparing to get some more black, blue, as well as matte blue out. We started bundling cans and parts for those batches today.

Batches Back From Color/Finish

Orders to Return from Purple (Standard & Matte) May 7^th, 2020

There are some parts from the standard purple batch which will need to be remade. So far 4 cup holder bezels are scrap, 1 shift plate is scrap, and 18 items need evaluation. The matte purple batch had no issues.
