Manufacturing Update November 29th, 2012
Welcome to the first manufacturing update since the Billet Tech countdown event two weeks ago. We are always mindful of your choices and we continue to be humbled by your support and trust.
This year we do believe we are more prepared than ever as it relates to the holiday orders. At the present moment we are currently runing approx 8-10 days behind our lead-times, however, we are gaining ground on that gap daily as we triple our efforts to keep the flow moving. Most countdown orders will ship in December.
Our one bottleneck at the present time is in shipping as we are experiencing a 3-4 day delay to ship after the products clear inspection to go out the door to you. This will improve dramatically next week as we have additional help in place to give Ms. Priscilla a helping hand.
We are currently in great shape on all our products meaning that if you did not get a custom order you can expect your order within lead-time just going over a few days as stated above. The only items that we sold out of during the countdown event are:
- Water Necks
- Fuse Box Covers (all years)
- Strut Covers (both styles)
- Our original design catch can hose ends
The good news on those items that we sold out on is that we are running them right now. Some of you guys and gals may have received those items as we shipped them in order of receipt.
Here is what has been shippping daily at our facility:
- Satin Catch Can’s all mounting options
- Satin Under Hood kits
- Misc interior parts.
- Center Caps
- Badges
We currently have black, and orange back in from anoidze now with red, blue, purple and green due in early next week. Clear anoidze will be back late next week and we are receiving polish twice a week.
If you placed an order with a custom image or art work we are working on those renderings daily and sending proofs for review several times a week. If you have not received your proof yet, please be patient we are goin in order and there were a lot of custom’s this year. Some of the art is very complext so we do require a bit of extra time to knock all these images out in prepartion for machining.
On December 5th we will have our regular product flow chart back up here with some detailed notes including availability and estimated ship dates for your order number(s).
