Manufacturing Update November 29th, 2017

Good afternoon folks and welcome to the last MFG Update for November 2017.  We are in the glide slope towards the end of 2017 and what an amazing year it has been.  We certainly have each and everyone of you to thank for that and we are extremely humbled and always grateful for allowing us to be a small part of your ownership experience.  

Encore Sale

As many of you are aware we ran our “Encore” event on November 21st.  Records fell early and this was the single biggest event we ever did here in terms of volume and also in terms of adding new team mates (you our customers) on to the BT roster.  

Even with the Paypal hiccup (yes our Paypal link crashed with all the traffic and came back live just before 2:00 P.M.) everyone sailed right through and used another form of payment or called and emailed as requested you do for assistance in getting your orders placed.  We are still in the late stages getting folks helped who had minor hiccups and needed assistance and we continue to reach out to you. Some of you we are playing phone tag with but will definitely get to you.

PayPal

Speaking of Paypal we realize many of you guys and gals wanted to take advantage of Bill me Later as part of Paypal Payments or had some extra cash stashed in your Paypal accounts.  If you want to switch to Paypal we have absolutely no problems in doing that for you.  Please once more reach out to us. We will void your preauthorization and get a money request over to you.

Deposits for Encore Sale Orders

Finally as it relates to payments we will begin to take the 30% deposit as we state on your invoice copy and in the How do I pay for my order link later on this week.  We will be be sending you an email reminder that we have done so and it may take us about a week to get to all of them.  We capture that 30% off the original pre-authorization code.  

If at anytime you need to cancel an order for whatever reason please reach out will issue you an immediate refund.  Custom orders: once the custom artwork has been approved that portion is not refundable.  Everything else is.  

Social Media and Contacting Team BT

For those of you that follow along with us on the social webs be it Instagram or Facebook please, be sure you reach out to us and contact us via phone or email.  We do have several team members who use, and are active on those accounts, especially at Instagram, where we showcase our products the most. Many times those followers who may have asked a question within a picture we have already lost you in our feed.  

We do have strict filtering on at the DM box on Instagram to control spam and we do not have the PM box on at all over on Facebook.  Help us help you by sending an email into Team BT or calling us. If you do get the voicemail, please leave a call back number, as we call back within the hour during normal business hours.  

Reaching out through our email and phones allows us to keep everything centralized into our CRM (Customer Relations Manager) software program where we are better able to access the info, keep it attached to your order or any pending quotes and get you the assistance you need in one centralized location.

Holiday Deliveries

For those that have requested holiday deliveries we have batched up and bundled the orders in preparation for any outside services, custom work or assembly needed to get these orders completed and shipped.  We have a couple dozen more  that will be going on that list but still need to talk to several of you guys and gals regarding those orders. So please folks, check your spam or junk inboxes, so that we can get clarification and get any of the “strays” handled too.  Regardless, all holiday requests as of the day of this update are bundled and ready to for any and all necessary processes as described herein.  We can take your holiday requests on colors, and polish up until December 6th.  After the 6th we can add you on the list but the chances of making the holiday time frame will decrease.  Satin machine finished orders we can take your requests as long as we have inventory by December 13th.

When it comes to your holiday requests we will be shipping packages all the way through December 22, 2017 with last call at 6:30 P.M.  This will allow us time to drop off at UPS (last call for the plane out is 8:00 every day for UPS) and FedEx (last call is 7:00 P.M.) to ensure Saturday delivery.  Express Mail (USPS) weekend and Holiday (December 25th) packages out the door can be dropped off by 8 P.M. Friday evening also and into Saturday, December 23rd.

Our focus will not just be on holiday order requests but all orders that are ready.  Therefore, if your order is finshed in the process here, we will be shipping to you all the way up until December 22nd for a holiday delivery.

2010-2014 Challenger Fuse Box Covers

Sold out late during hour two of the sale.  Please keep an eye on the MFG Updates Sections for when we expect to manufacture the next batches of parts on these and also for what runs out and what will be making to keep pace all December long.  

Why BT Doesn’t Keep Stock on colors and polish on the Shelves?

The biggest question we are asked is why don’t you keep it all finished and ready to go.  It’s simple, we keep everything in blank machine finish due to the amount of one off custom requests we receive, as well as not to overwhelm our outsider suppliers with too much at once (we offer a bunch of finish options including matte finishes).  We source all plating, polishing and powder coating locally to control QC and work hand in hand with our vendor partners to ensure you receive the best of the best.  

Same with catch cans, we are always in production, assembly and shipping not just satin but all colors and we have very robust private label business now too for many makes and models.  A look at our product tables and assembly and into shipping queues over the past several months on these updates gives you an idea of how much we move through here.  It’s simply about balance for us financially and or our outside services partners.  

Please know we are always working hard to get you your package as quickly as possible as it is counter productive for us to be sitting on dollars, literally.  If you are in our area and wish to come for a visit and tour please reach out we love to have visitors and show you the process.  Everything you see when you come in is already sold most of the time and just waiting to head to another step in the manufacturing process.  

Engrave Queue and Final Assembly

With that please see the following order tables below for what’s come back and gone out to finish, what’s in assembly and final shipping and what’s in the engrave queue..  Speaking of assembly and engraving please allow us up to two weeks to get these orders wrapped, final inspected and packaged for shipping.  Many times it will be much quicker. However, as we begin to see the first influxes of finished items go out and come back in from plate, polish or powder coat products go into the engrave queue, we may experience some bottlenecks.  We will work through them and be putting in extra time and hours on weekends and after hours to keep the flow smooth.  

We will be back again with another update later this week with any supplemental information, and also next week with another full MFG Update report as we dig deeper into the orders that are in house now and continue to come in.
