Manufacturing Update October 16, 2020

Friends, and family welcome. As always, we start each update with our sincerest thanks for your support, and trust. We have a lot to cover today so lets get right at it.

Revised Payment Terms

Folks we have revised our Payment Terms and Conditions. We touched on this a couple updates ago. On your invoice copy is a Help/FAQ Section with several useful links, including one to this very update you are reading, and also our Payment Terms.

Anodize Turn Around Times

The anodize back jams are starting to ease! As mentioned last week, we have brought on another company to take on some of the anodizing. Turn around times will be much faster on standard black, standard red, and clear anodize.

Lots of Batches Out for Color

We sent out seven batches for color. Racing red metallic, yellow, white, destroyer grey and F8 Green all went to the powder coater. Batches of standard clear, blue and matte blue went to anodize. Please check the tables below to see if your order went out.

Batches Back from Color

We have received quite a bit of stuff back in since we last checked in with you guys and gals earlier this week. The batches of copper, titanium, octane red and standard black are back, and the team is working on getting them sorted, inspected, and into final processes.

Stock Statuses

We are in good shape on product as far as inventory goes. If you are a long timer, you know we keep all our products in machine satin blanks to be pulled to go right into the shop for engraving. If you order satin finish, or into assembly, if you order a catch can, and then products are pulled as we go to our color, and polish finishes.

Coolant Tank Covers

There are orders getting long in the tooth.

We will begin shipping satin machine finished covers the last week of October.

Color will be shipped in November.

Folks we apologize for the delay with the Covid19 Virus hitting our shop we have been playing catch up more so than usual. We are pretty much replenished on product, and we can now get these cleaned up, and get product on the shelf again.

Hood Shock Covers

We have shipped our last set of hood shock covers this week for the 300, Charger, Challenger and Magnum. Not to fear these won’t sit for months out of stock. We have material here now. As soon as we wrap up running this round of catch can bottoms, we will throw those on the lathe, and get them knocked out. We should have inventory back on the shelf, in machine satin, again late next week.

Devo Style Strut Cover

We sold our last set of Devo Style Strut Covers today. We will get those manufactured again in early November.

Throttle Body & Bypass Covers

2013 and up Throttle Body Covers, and Hellcat/Demon Bypass valve covers we sold out earlier this week. Material will be ordered middle of next week, and we will get these on a machine the last week of October.

Coil Pack Covers

The material is here. We are waiting for a mill to open up. These should begin manufacturing the week of October 26th, or later next week. 

Next Update…

We may be back Monday with a fresh update. However, chances are good we won’t have the next update launched until Monday, October 26th, as we are loosing BT VP, and our webmaster John, next week to a much needed vacation.
