Manufacturing Update October 22, 2021

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to Friday and that means we have a new update just for you.

First and always, the team thanks all of you for your generous support and trust. More so as we enter in to the 18th month of a world literally turned upside down. In spite of all of this you, our amazing customers, have kept us busy. In fact, busier than any time in our company’s history, and that goes all the way back to 1975. Thank you will never be enough, and we will always be mindful to put back in what is freely given to us by you, the people of the BT Nation.

Colors In and Colors Out

We have had quite a bit of stuff go out this week. We sent out batches of purple and orange to anodize in both standard and matte finishes. The blue and matte blue went out on Monday and just came back in today. We also received the red and black anodize back in from plating.

We also sent out factory color match on Destroyer Grey, Redline Red, F8 Green, and more TorRed went to our local painting partner here. Take a look at the tables below to check to see if your order went out on these finishes. If not, and you have questions as to why or when, just drop us an email or give us a call (561.582.6171).

Color Match Update & Info

About the only bottleneck we are having issues with is the factory color matched parts. We are still waiting on the B5 Blue batch and sadly folks that grouping of orders has now been out of our facility for 90 plus days.

As we discussed in last week’s update, we stand with our vendor partners. We have spoken to the owner who is doing those finishes (B5 and Plum Crazy) and we have been assured that the B5 will be completed and shipping early in the coming week (week of October 25th).

The plum crazy will follow in behind it. If this does not happen as promised we have asked for those parts to be returned to us so we can get them finished here locally. This vendor partner is located in California, and unfortunately he is having issues with mandates and keeping workers, which is causing a great deal of problems.

We will only give up on a company as a last resort so, we want to see our partner get over this hump and have success.

Our local painter is turning around batches right around 30 days after we send those orders out to be finished.

Inventory & Manufacturing Runs

Inventory statues are up to date in the online store. You can find that information in the “availability” section which is right next to the unit price of the product.

We have handful of open orders in which we have shipped partials to, and are awaiting the final part(s). We also have a few stand alone orders waiting on parts to be manufactured.

The good news is that the following parts are coming off the CNCs now. We will start shipping satin machine finish parts within the next 7-10 days, and color parts all through November. We also have inventory for all of these items moving forward into the holidays.

• ABS Covers are on a machine now finishing production.
• Trackhawk Coolant Reservoir covers are on a machine now finishing production.
• Ram, Durrango and Jeep fuse box covers are on a machine now finishing production.
• Coolant Tank Covers are on a machine now finishing production.
• 3MM Spacers are on a machine now (this is an oldie here folks thanks for waiting we have 72 sets that have to ship). We will have all back orders shipped by November 5th (we will start shipping late next week).

Satin Catch Cans

Satin Catch Cans are shipping within 3-5 days from ordering. If you need us to ship your can the next business day after you order it, just let us know “you need it asap” in the comments section if you are ordering online. If you are placing your order over the phone with one of our friendly BT Teammates just tell us during the phone call and will take care of it for you.

Supply Chain Issues

We discussed last week about supply chain issues. We are having some issues, and bottlenecks however we are adapting to overcome challenges as needed. We are staying in constant touch with our hardware and material suppliers to keep in front of and ahead of any problematic situations that may be on the horizon.

It’s no secret that it takes time to get our stuff under normal circumstances. We pride ourselves on being transparent with our customers, and we have those relationships (transparency) with our supplier partners as well.
