Manufacturing Update September 3, 2021

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to September. It’s Friday which means it’s time for a new MFG Update. It’s also a long weekend for many of you, including us and the unofficial end of summer. The time has flown by this year and we have been super busy all thanks to you, our wonder customers and friends.

New Factory Color: Indigo Blue

Kicking off this Labor Day Update is what is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Our Indigo blue test batch is back in house, for our amazing customer Steve. Steve agreed to be the “test mule” for this color, and it’s fantastic.

We have had a lot of requests for this finish. The very good news is we will start taking orders for Indigo Blue parts next Tuesday when we return from the holiday weekend.

We will begin to populate the products with the Indigo Blue option Tuesday morning, and be ready for you guys and gals to get on board.

We will announce that it’s live on our social media pages (Facebook | Instagram) as well as next Friday’s update.

So please be sure to tune in, or call us, late Tuesday and definitely on Wednesday to place your orders.

Colors In

First we received the Frostbite and Yellow batches back in the shop. You will see those orders on the “Back In” tables below the article.

As always, allow us 10-15 business days to complete any final processes before shipping your orders out to you. If you have any questions, or need us to expedite your order, please call (561.582.6171) or email us.

Colors Out

This week we sent out batches of Destroyer Grey, Redline Red, as well as a small batch of Frostbite to be completed in the factory color matching process. A round of Standard Burnt Orange Anodize was also sent out.

You will find those orders that went for finish in the tables below.

Color Batches On Deck

Folks we are currently rebuilding stock on several of our popular products. For that very reason we sent very little out this week.

We have bundled up a bunch of orders for the following finishes that will be heading out right after Labor Day. Many of those orders will appear on next weeks update.

• Smoke Show
• Sublime
• Matte Red and Standard Red anodize
• Blue and Matte Blue anodize
• Black and Matte Black anodize

Batches Still Out for Finish

The following finishes are still out. We have included an ETA for when those batches are due back in based on our conversation with our vendor partners:

• B5 Blue that went August 8th (late next week or early week of September 13th)
• Jazz Blue that went July 19th (due in late next week)
• Plum Crazy that went August 24th sometime late week of September 13th or week of September 2oth
• Polish from August 12th (due in late next week)
• Racing Red Metallic (due in late next week)

Inventory & Manufacturing Statuses

All stock status, for each individual product, are up to date on our store as of Thursday, September 2nd.

Below is list of products we are either manufacturing now or an ETA to Manufacture.

Please note: some products we have had to push back from prior updates. We apologize for this in advance. As a company manufacturing not just car parts, things remain fluid here at times. As we have mentioned in prior updates, we are running into some bottlenecks on materials and supplies but working around them.

If you have been paying attention lots of companies are having issues getting folks to work, and there are shortages of some hardware, as well as materials, etc.

Team BT sources American Made materials, uses American companies, and vendor partners for our outside services.

It’s a food chain folks, so be a little patient. The same quality will always come out of our facility, and we are always transparent if there are any issues before you receive the products.

ABS Covers

We have had to move those a few times, but rest assured we will be starting our MFG Run late next week, and all through the week of September 13th.

Hood Shock Covers

Strut covers for cars are sold out again. Those will be running next week, and we will be fully stocked in satin again by Wednesday. Colors will start to go out to finishes the week of September 13th.

Throttle Body Covers

We just finished our run this week, so these are back in stock for ’13 and up.

Same for the 2005-2010 models.

Last call for 05-10 model years
We have enough inventory now that should carry us the remainder of 2021.

They come in in dribs and drabs now, so this will be the last manufacturing run on those. They will be retired to the BT Vault after we sell out.

Fuse Boxes

Fuse boxes all years for cars are running now. We will start shipping satin machine finish the week of September 13th, and colors will start to go out later in that week.

Ram Trucks, 392 Jeeps, Trackhawk and Durango fuse boxes we sold out this week. Material will be ordered late next week to begin another run of covers the week of September 13th.

We DO HAVE inventory in machine satin on the 2021 fuse box covers for Rams (including TRX), Trackhawks and Durango Hellcat. Standard lead-times apply for all polish and color finishes on those years.

Super Charger Coolant Reservoir Covers

Hellcat / Demon SC Coolant Reservoir Covers are running now. Satin machine finish will start shipping next week, with colors and polish going to finishes all through the month of September.

Uni-Strut Covers

Uni-strut covers are sold out. We won’t be able to get those on a machine until later this month.

Coolant Reservoir Covers for Trackhawk, RAM, TRX, and Durango Hellcat

We will be manufacturing those the week of September 20th, possibly sooner. We will keep you posted.

Manifold Baffle Covers

We have a bunch on backorder. Material is coming in next week. So we can pop those on, and get a batch run off and get those orders cleaned up.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin machine finish catch cans are shipping within 10 business days or sooner.

If you need us to ship your satin catch can the next business day after you order it, let us know in the comments section when checking out. We will handle that for you. If you are ordering over the phone, with one of us here at Team BT, let us know during that phone call, and we will handle that for you.

Shipping Statuses

If you see your order has moved to “ready to ship” status you will receive your tracking via email. Your order will ship either that day or the next business day.

If you are in “pending to ship” status your item is in assembly and will be heading to the lovely Andrea to pack within 3-4 days.

We have a whole “you-know-what-pot” of satin cans, including our private label cans that we make for other companies and vehicles, in assembly and packaging every single day.

Under Hood Kits

Same with under hood kits in the engraving queue.

If you see your order is in “pending to ship” status on orders that require engraving we will be moving it to packaging within 4 business days.

We have a lot of orders in the engraving queue right now, including our most popular satin machine finish. We are trying to keep you informed here, on the updates.

You can expect your order to move to “ready to ship” status within 4 business days.

Just as with our satin catch cans, once your under hood kits, and pieces that need engravings, move to “ready to ship” status those order will either ship that day, or the next morning with tracking details hitting your inboxes asap.

New CNC Mill

Folks we have a new CNC Mill on order. Delivery was originally slated for October. Now it has been pushed back to late December. Chip shortages, and supply chain issues have pushed our delivery back again.

We are anxious to add another piece of equipment to our shop to help us keep up with demand. As mentioned above it’s a food chain friends, everyone is effected.

Our continued, and managed growth is only possible because of your support. Our team sincerely thanks you even more so during these times, when so many are struggling.

Labor Day Holiday & Sale

Folks thats going to do it for this week. We are closing at 3:30 today (no split crew this evening). We are off now until Tuesday, September 7th where we will return at 5:00 A.M. with first cuts and chips flying. Phones live at 6:00 A.M. Sharp!
