Manufacturing Update September 16, 2020

Good afternoon everyone. Thank you for checking in, and thank you, as always, for your support, and trust. Just coming in today to let everyone know what has come back, and gone out for finishes. We’ve thrown in some stock statues for good measure.

Colors In, Colors Out

We sent out a bunch of batches for finish today. Titanium, matte titanium, plum purple, matte copper, machine copper, roman gold, lime green metallic and polish all went out.

Please check the tables below the article to see if your order went out. When in doubt, just call (561.582.6171) or email us. We are here to help.

We received the batches of matte black, standard clear and matte clear anodize back from plating. The team has been working hard on sorting and getting those parts into final processes, QC, and shipping. Please see the section below regarding the matte black batch.

Matte Black Batch Mix Up

We do have the matte black in right now. Please accept our sincerest apologies for including that batch as back on the September 4th update. It was only the standard black which had come back.

However the matte batch is here now, and we are shipping on it.

All stand alone catch can orders in matte black, from that batch, are in assembly right now, and we will have them shipped to you by Friday. Cans with other under hood pieces will start to ship next week, as will the custom engraved catch cans from this batch.

Color Batches on Deck

Standard black, and standard red anodize are next on deck to be sent for plating.

Lead Time for Final Processes

Remember if you see your order has come back from finish please allow us up to 2 weeks to complete any final processes such as assembly, and engraving, to ship your order out to you.

Matte Black Valve Covers

We may have a set of matte black valve covers available for sale off this batch.

There are no matte black requests on our will call list for the valve covers. As such, if the presale on one of these sets we got ack falls through (the other two are claimed and shipping), we will put them up for grabs on the next update launching on September 22nd so stay tuned.

Stock Statuses

All stock status is up to date on the website in each product.

Power Seat Covers

We are out of power seat covers we sold out over the weekend. Those are going to wrap up the current production run before the end of this month.

Satin machine finish will be shipping in early October, and colors all through October until all back orders are filled.

Hellcat/Demon and Trackhawk Waternecks

Satin machine finished Hellcat/Demon thermostat housings (water necks) will start shipping next week.

Color, and polished back orders will be shipping in October.

We will have plenty of inventory to take us through the 4th quarter, and holiday season. Same with the Trackhawk thermostat housings.

Catch Cans

Satin machine finished cans from September 3rd through September 7th are in final packaging now. Tracking details should be hitting your inboxes any day.

All satin cans from September 8th through yesterday’s business are in assembly, including our dealer, and private label partners.

Color Cans are continuing to go out weekly for finish. Keep checking in on these updates, if you have purchased a color can, to see when your order will go out to be finish or simply email and or call us if you like too.

Sometimes a Phone Call is All it Takes

Speaking of reaching out, today we had a few incidents where simple misunderstandings were resolved via a phone call. It happens so often in this digital age, where written/typed words are taken out of context, or misinterpreted. A simple phone call can solve those problems, as well as build a new relationship.

We love hearing from you, our customers. The entire BT Team strives to exceed our customers’ expectations, and to resolve any issues which arise. Contrary to what you may have heard, we are actually nice group of enthusiasts, just like you.
