Manufacturing Update September 18th, 2017

Good afternoon all and as always we thank you for all the support and trust you show our team.  

We are back to full operations post Hurricane Irma with full restoration of services restored as of September 15th.  Once again we certainly appreciate all the calls, emails, texts and direct messages the company received and members of of staff received individually leading up to the storm.  With that let’s get right into today’s update.  

Production Days Lost to Hurricane Irma

As you are aware our last update was posted on September 5th and we kept pretty much on stayed on point regarding our schedule and what we hoped to be able to do after the storm.  We did lose 8 days due to the approach if of the hurricane then the immediate aftermath.  That may not seem like a lot of time, however, the impact on production hours here as well as being able to send parts out for finish was greatly impacted.  

New Orders

Thankfully, new business did not stop while we were not here at the facility.  If anything we had record breaking days while we were away.  This absolutely blew our mind and truly is humbling to know that we have created and shared such a strong bond with your base for all these years. The order comments in the comments box by you guys and gals, well let’s just say again, it’s absolutely appreciated and we were frankly blown away by the support.  

Extended Lead-Times

Because of that support we will be on the extended lead-time schedule at least until early October again.  To learn how that may effect your delivery please visit the link right here  more details and of course we will will keep you up to speed via our weekly MFG Updates.  

Low Stock/Out of Stock Items

As we took in record orders we have started to run low on stock. We are still accessing our inventory status and will have all products up to date on the site as far as availability within the next 48 hours.  What we can tell you is we are out of the follow as of September 18th:

Catch Cans

Catch cans all styles, we are covered on cans through late August and have restarted assembly.  We will begin manufacturing catch cans again later this week and have all satin cans hopefully caught up within 10-15 days. We are shooting for sooner.  We also are low on the braided hose ends too.  Will get more manufactured before the end of the month.  In order that we don’t hold up delivery of your item due to the decorative braided hose kits we will be sending orders out with standard PCV hose so you can do your installs. Of course we will put a note on your invoice copy that the braided line kit will be forthcoming to you as soon as we have replenished hose ends.  We are absolutely once again stunned we sold close to 400 catch cans from Labor Day weekend right up through today.  We truly appreciate that you have choices and still choose to purchase our brand.  Thank you!

A/C Port Cap Covers

We are also out of stock on low pressure and high A/C port cap covers the classic Billet Tech style. We do have sigma series available so if you would like to move in to that style on any underhood kit just let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.  

2013-2014 Ram, Jeep SRT & Durango Fuse Boxes

2013-2014 Dodge Ram, Jeep SRT and Dodge Durango fuse boxes are out of stock. We ordered a bar of material today and will start another round later this month or early October. Once we are sold out on on those styles we won’t be doing another run again until after the fist of the year. We don’t move too many 13-14 style covers and what we run on this round should be sufficient to handle demand through the end of the year.  If you have an order in we expect to shop your cover in October will try to narrow that down here in the next week or so and update you after we have run them.

Devo Style Strut Covers

Strut covers Devo Style we have limited sets here but we are going to go back and run off the remainder of the material we have here within the next week and have inventory replenished before the end of the month.  

Old School Shifter Balls

We also are out of the old school shifter balls.  We have all orders covered through late August.  We do expect some delays on this item and will not be able to get this product on the machine until sometime in mid October.  If you have any questions please call us.  

Once again, will have a better handle on things and have a fresh report towards the end of the week.

Anodize and Powder Coating

Prior to Hurricane Irma we picked up a bunch of anodize to keep it secure at our facility as well as powder coating.  Today was the first full day we have been able to really start to get into the meat of those orders and will really start to get everything engraved and assembled to ship to you in the coming days.  Keep an eye on your inboxes for tracking details.  Below you will find the tables of whats come back.  Once more we are shipping as quickly as possible.  If you have a need by date please let us know so we can work towards your schedule if your items are back.

We also started to send out anodize (color) again today.  We did send some clear anodize up as well as standard black and will be getting a several large lots ready to go out to all colors over next several days.  

Communication with Team BT

Couple things of note we are on the East Coast and our phone hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 5:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M., and Friday 4:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M.  Our facility is open until 7:00 P.M. daily however we use the hours between 3:30 P.M. and 7:00 P.M., to concentrate on shipping, and general shop work.  If you do get our voicemail we kindly ask you to please leave that voicemail for us we do return your calls the next day and and all throughout the day.  If we are on the phone with other clients and you call we do not interrupt that call so if we don’t answer chances are we are not at a desk to do so, or on the phone.  Communicating with you is our highest priority so please email and leave those voice mails will be in touch ASAP.  

Deposits

Please do not forget all orders in color and polish we may take a 30% deposit to begin work. We are sending you email reminders if we do that.  These deposits are fully refundable.  If you have ordered a custom piece and you have approved the rendering and we have started the work that is not refundable. When in doubt please call us. Everything you need to know from how you paid for your order to how we ship your order is on your invoice copy you receive via email and if you placed the order online yourself on the “Thank You” pages you will be shown once that has been put through.  

Orders for Lone Star Mopar Fest

Last but not least we realize many of you have orders in here for Lone Star Moparfest taking place October 6th and 7th out in Houston Texas hosted by our friends at Space City LX.  If you you are going to the event please let us know so we can move you onto the expedite list and make every effort to complete your order.  We can even ship to your hotel if you are coming in from out of state all the way up for delivery on Friday, October 6th.  Team BT will be attending this year and we look forward to seeing you there.
