Manufacturing Update September 22, 2020

Good afternoon everyone. As we inch closer to the end of the month, and the 4th quarter of 2020 literally a week away, we once more thank you for your trust. Thank you for your support. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your ownership experiences.

2020 has been a trying year for everyone. We are all tired. We all miss people we love, some of us cannot see our loved ones because of Covid. Your BT Team has been savaged by it, and thankfully we are recovering. Your unwavering support all this year we simply cannot say it enough, how much it is appreciated by all of us. With that said let us get into some information that we hope you all will find informative.

Billet Tech Trailer Hitch Cover

Friends we screwed the pooch, dropped the ball, fubared and whatever politically correct expletives come to mind. We just let a lot of you down on that item. We hang our heads in shame.

If you follow along on our social media pages (Instagram and Facebook) you know that Sebastian and Nico came in over the weekend, knocked out all the back orders, and manufactured enough inventory to put on the shelf for new business moving forward.

As we mentioned yesterday not one word from any of you that had one on order, and yes, some of these orders were so over due badly so much so the BT Skeleton turned to dust.

Anyone that paid with PayPal (on those trailer hitch orders) we put your money back into your account. Anyone that paid via credit card those orders are only preauthorized therefore there were no charges.

Our Mistake. We’ll Make it Right

All orders that came in, up until we removed the trailer hitch cover about a month ago, you will be receiving a hitch cover FREE of charge. We screwed up, we own it, we fix it. It’s just that simple.

When it comes to your money you trusted us, on the PayPal front especially, and we went MIA on the entire product. Not acceptable.

All orders that were open when we removed the product are heading to finishes this week yet, and we will have them shipped by the middle to third week of October.

On Wednesday, September 23rd we will return the product to the website for new business confident that orders will be filled in a reasonable manner.

Stock Statuses

Stock statuses are up to date on the website but we will swing back before Friday, when we do another update. Yes, there will be two this week.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin Catch cans are shipping within 7 business days or sooner. If you need us to ship out your satin catch can the next business day after you place your order, just let us know over the phone, if you are placing a phone order. If ordering online, just drop a note in the comments section when checking out, and the team will take care of it for you.

Colors Out

Today we sent Octane Red, as well as blue, and matte blue anodize out for finishes. Check the tables below to see if your order has gone out. Any questions call (561.582.6171) or email us, we are here for you.

Colors In

We got back quite a bit of powder coat today. Racing Red Metallic, lime green, white, roman gold and plum crazy purple are all back in. We will start to sort through the orders, and get them into final assembly on the catch cans. All parts needing engraving we will route those into the shop so we can complete your orders and get them shipped. Please allow us at least 2 weeks to complete any final processes.

Colors on Deck

The next batches we are preparing to go out for finish are red, more lime green, and black.

The red batch is substantial, and we just needed a few more pieces to come off the machines. Be sure to tune in on Friday for more information. Of course you can call (561.582.6171) or email us anytime for one on one help.

“Ready to Ship Status”

Folks as you see from our updates, if you follow along, we are extremely busy, as is our shipping area. As you know, the lovely Andrea hand wraps each package with extreme care. No shrink wrapping your beautiful BT pieces on to the back of a piece of cardboard.

Our work speaks for itself. You know it’s a BT part when you open the box. The level of craftsmanship, and attention to detail, right on down to the packaging is on point.

PLEASE do not be alarmed if you see your order is in “ready to ship status” for several days. Neal clears the orders from final, and puts them back in their job bins, and moves them into shipping.

We are moving as quickly as possible. If you see your order is “ready to ship status”, and you have a cruise in, or an event, and you need us to get you out asap just call (561.582.6171) or email us. We will get it taken care of for you promptly.

Lone Star Moparfest

All of our customers heading to Lone Star Moparfest, and the Modern Street Hemi Shootout Event next weekend (October 1-3) who had a delivery request in, we have everyone covered.

Your order either shipped, is in shipping right now, or in final engraving and will be shipping before the end of the week. Those of you who are still in engraving, wrapping up custom themes, and there are some good ones that will be out in Houston this year, we will ship to ensure you receive your parts no later than Monday, September 28th.

Shop Visitors

Family that’s going to do it for today. We are allowing visitors to come to the shop again, but we are asking you to limit your party to no more than two people. Please remember to call ahead. All visitors are required to mask up before entering the facility.
