Manufacturing Update September 29, 2017

Good morning everyone and welcome to the final MFG Update from September 2017.  Yes, it’s finally upon us the 4th quarter of 2017.  It’s been an amazing 9 months here and we thank you all sincerely for the love, support, friendships and trust you show our team.  

As we prepare to enter the glide slope towards the end of the year many of the things you you love about Team BT will be as strong as ever.  There are many amazing things happening right now but as always we keep you our customers and friends in mind in order that we can continue to provide you with the very best parts and continue to be able to interact with you at the personalized level you have come to expect from us over these 11 years we have been doing this as a brand.  

With the thanks out of the way let’s get started on this update.  

Operational Status Post Irma

We are just about 100% back operational after Hurricane Irma.  We have had some manufacturing issues mostly scheduling that had to be moved around in order for us to stay on delivery for critical non automotive items that has resulted in putting us behind on some items. 

Catch Cans Finally Running After Irma

If you are unaware BT is a brand and we do other work at our facility other than manufacture our product line that we sell to you.  One of our turning centers (catch cans) has been offline for approximately 2.5 weeks impacting our ability to manufacture catch can bottoms to mate with the tops we had already completed prior to us being down due to the Hurricane.  With that said, we are back to shipping satin catch cans again and the table below will indicate which orders are in final packing and preparing to ship in machine satin.  Please understand this is “wave one” and there are even more satin cans preparing to go into assembly and into final package also.  This table covers everyone from the last 10 days of August. We are moving into September’s stack now and are preparing to send all catch cans that need color and polish finishes out over the next two weeks with a big push starting next week.

If your satin can is on this table in packaging please allow us until the middle part of next week to get your item boxed, charged and shipped to you.  If you need help and you see you are here call us so we can work with you.  No orders with the exception of Paypal payments have been charged as of yet.  Same with colors.  If you are not showing up just yet and you need an update or a need by day call or email us. Be patient will have a new table up with cans in shipping or in fact shipped within the coming days too.

Supplemental Updates on Color and Polish

We will be posting several “Supplemental” Updates when we start to send the color and polish cans and other items out next week.  Our plan is to send out green, titanium, matte colors and purple by Wednesday of next week. This will not only include catch cans but, all the other products we make that may require colors.  We will be sending color and polish out WITH FREQUENCY here during the first two weeks of October.  We will have everyone back up and on lead-time and again by mid October or sooner.

Out of Stock Items

We are out of stock on the following items and in manufacturing now.  Will be back in stock by the end of next week in machine satin and on lead-time again.  Any back orders we will be filling in order or receipt or expedite with satin machine finished products starting to ship on these items next week:

• Billet Tech Classic low and high pressure A/C Port Cap Covers.
• Old school shifter balls.
• 5.7, 6.1 and 6.4 water necks
• Devo strut covers

We are in good shape product wise on everything else.  

LoneStar Mopar Fest

Finally, will be taking a little BT Road Trip on Thursday, October 5th to Houston, Texas for Lone Star Moparfest.  As has been the case for a number of years we are not going to this event to sell you any products we are coming as true car enthusiasts to interact with you and see old friends and meet new ones.  Members of our crew will be walking the show grounds and Friday social as well at The Hemi Hideout looking for new members to add to the BT family in the form of sponsorships.  Our primary focus is always on people first and this will be absolutely no exception.  We realize we are still here doing what we do because of people like you who believe in us and welcome us to your home towns.  Paying it forward is an important part of our business model and that’s what we try to do each day.  

While some staff are at LSMF2017 the shop will be open and fully operational for normal business hours.
