Manufacturing Update August 8, 2018

Good afternoon everyone. It may seem redundant to read the opening statement of each and every update every single time, but thank you! Thank you for the trust, support and continued business. We value you as our customer, know your time is important, and truly appreciate you taking time out of your day to read our manufacturing updates. These updates have proven to be the best vehicle for transparency, giving our customers insight into what is going on at the facility, and ultimately, your order.

Today’s update will cover items that have come back in from colors, and an update on the catch can shipping situation, products out of stock, when the next rounds of colors will go out etc., so lets dive in.

Machine Damage

As you know sometimes things will not go as planned. In our case, two of our machines suffered major damage over the past six weeks, which put us behind (more so than even the BT Skeleton is used to). In times such as this, it is vital we keep you in the loop with written words, or perhaps a video (as we did about a week ago with Nick Billet at the helm). You’re welcome to visit our facility to get a better understanding of our procedures and processes we would love to host you here.  

Satin Catch Can Update

Yes friends satin catch cans have resumed shipping! As we reported on the August 3rd update we are deep into manufacturing again. Rather than put up a table of the 600 plus orders we have right now this is what you can expect to occur with your order by the invoice order date:

Satin Can Ship ETAs by Order Date

• All Satin Catch Cans ordered through August 1st
  These cans have started to ship (oldest first and yes we have some cans that were in mid June), and will be completely assembled packaged and on the way to you within the next 7-10 days. Please keep an eye on your inboxes for tracking details. We can now let you know if you that if you need shipment quicker please reach out to us so we can accommodate you and your time frame.
• All Satin Catch Can orders from August 2nd to present orders
  These cans will ship in August and we expect to be back on the two week lead-time to complete assembly, inspect and package satin catch cans by late the week of August 20th.
• Bulk Orders aka Dealers
  Bulk orders will fall in the above ETAs as well.

Mounts and Brackets

We are currently building Hellcat/Demon/Track Hawk Mounts for the catch can so this will have very little impact on the delivery schedule above. Z Brackets are going on the machine within the next week and also will have little impact on the above shipping schedule.

Catch cans will remain in continual production as always now that the equipment has been repaired. Once more we cannot thank you enough for staying with Team BT and more so knowing you have choices elsewhere it is truly humbling to our team.

Color and Polish Catch Cans

Color and polish catch cans will be starting to go out for outside processes to our wonderfully talented vendor partners to complete those finishes starting the week of August 13th. We are holding on sending anything out for plate or powder coat as many of you guys and gals not only buy a catch can but other parts too our goal is to always have your parts done together whenever possible to ensure consistency.

Under Hood Kit Parts

We also have some of our popular under hood pieces that we ran out of as we lost one of our mills for a couple weeks of down time due to the electrical damage sustained here after the tornado. Parts run quickly so will be back in the groove so to speak within a week to 10 days on most items. Below you will find what we are currently out of stock on and ETA to run. Material is on order for everything and is scheduled to come in in stages for efficient work flow through our facility.

  Next MFG Run week week of August 20th.
• Oil Dipsticks
  Next MFG Run week of August 20th. This includes Hellcat, Demon and Track Hawk (Classic BT) Dipsticks
• Coil Pack Covers
  Next MFG Run mid September we have everyone covered on the last run through August 3rd. Everyone after August 3rd will ship start to ship in September.
• Uni-Strut Covers
  Next MFG Run late first week of September.

Final Process Lead Time

Folks if you see your order has come back from finish today please allow us 7-10 days to complete any assembly required as well as other processes necessary (engraving) prior to packing and shipping your parts. If you feel that may interfere with your parts getting to you in time for an event you are attending please reach out to us via email or phone (561.582.6171) so we can get the “need by” required from you and will do everything humanly possible to get it done for you.

PayPal

Remember if you paid with PayPal and you are new to the MFG Updates or didn’t look at the Help/FAQ Section of your invoice copy you received after you placed your order with us the dollars are taken from your PayPal account instantly. If at any time you are not comfortable with us holding your funds while we build your your product PLEASE reach out to us, we will work with you. Our phones are answered (and if you get VM we call you back), we answer emails, allow us the opportunity to work with you prior to disputing.

Credit Card Deposits

Please remember we may take a 30% deposit to begin work on all credit card orders. We take that 30% charge off the original authorization code. The balance is collected within 24 hours of shipping of shipping your parts. When in doubt call us. Email reminders are also sent out to remind you that we are taking the 30% refundable deposit with helpful links regarding your order and the processes we will be taking to complete it.
