Manufacturing Update April 19, 2019

Good afternoon everyone and the weekend is at hand. Welcome to another MFG Update and as always a huge thank you to everyone for your support and trust.

Today’s post is essentially a supplemental update to let everyone know what has come back in and gone out for finish. As you will see from the tables today we have a lot of orders that have gone for finish both in anodize red and racing red metallic. The batch of Matte Black has returned, and the team is already banging it out through final processes.

Standard Red Anodize Batch Went Out

On the red anodize, just about everyone with an open order through April 11th went out to finish. Most of those orders are from February and March. Family not only are we pumping out the products in the shop but our supplier partners are definitely bringing those lead-times in for us. We are getting closer and closer returning to the 20 business day lead-times on colors and polished parts.

Racing Red Metallic Batch Also Went Out

The same with the racing red metallic applies here as well. We do have a few folks from The Peoples Sale that are in these batches that went to finish today and some orders from late December and January also (mostly catch cans).

Finishes Still Out

The following finishes are still out and we should have these all back in here very soon as our supplier partners are really knocking things out again.

• Polish from April 4th
• Blue and matte blue anodize from April 5th
• Orange and Matte Orange from April 9th
• F8 Green from April 15th
• Redline Red Pearl from April 15th
• Jazz Blue from April 15th
• Destroyer Grey from April 15th
• Black anodize from April 15th

Lead Times are Almost Back on Track

If you have followed along you know about the lengthy delay on cans, and why. The great news is we are just about out of the woods and most every single finish is out currently, or getting ready to go next week. At our facility we believe in total transparency. This is why we do our MFG Updates, to educate you, so you can make an informed decision, whether you are a current client or a potential client joining the BT family. Thank you everyone.

Satin Catch Cans Ship Quick

Folks if you are ordering a satin catch can and need us to ship it within the next one to three business day just let us know in the order comments when you self check out and will get that out for you. If placing your order over the phone just let us know that as well when speaking to us and will get you handled immediately. All satin cans will ship within 15 days or sooner, from the day you order.

Other Satin Parts, also Ship Quickly

As we touched base here in the last few updates and as we tell you on our website most all of our products are kept in satin machine finish on the shelf in blanks. If you order anything in satin finish we usually have your products completed (engravings) and shipped to you within 15 days give or take as long as we have stock. You can always check in to the updates for stock status info or call us. We run parts continually here and if we experience any lengthy delays we will let you know right here the how and why.

Stock Statuses & Wheel Spacers

Stock status is up to date on the website. As we posted the other day we sold our last set of 3mm Wheel Spacers a few days ago. We have material on order and will have stock again before the end of the month.

Lead Time for Final Processes

Remember if you see your order has come back in from finish today (matte black) please allow us 7-15 days to complete any final processes such as assembly or engraving prior to package and shipping to you. If you have an upcoming event and this may pose a problem just reach out to us via phone, email or the form on our 19 and will get you moved up so we can get you out the door.

BT Vault Group Buy: 2005-2007 LX Fuse Box Covers

Finally we heard you loud and clear last week on the social webs when we posted a 2005-2007 custom fuse box cover we did for our good friend Michael out in Houston, Texas. We had a cover that we were able to salvage it, color and engrave it for him. As long timers know, those covers were a staple here at our shop for many years, but as more people upgraded to newer cars, the demand for these covers waned.

Well it seems that you guys and gals with the, shall we say “classic” modern Mopars, want us to run them again. We always do our best to give the people what they want. Therefore, if you want an 05-07 fuse box cover we have made the product live again and you can place your order online or over the phone with us.

We must have to have 8-10 people come on board. Once we have at least 8 orders, we will order material and start the manufacturing run. If you have questions, call (561.582.6171) or email us.

Group Buys at BT

We do things different at BT. We do not charge you in advance for any group buys since we make our own product. You will only be charged when we are ready to ship. If you decide to use PayPal when checking out on this product it is instant. If there are not enough orders required to validate the manufacturing run we will refund your cash to you after the close date of the group buy.
