Manufacturing Update February 14, 2020

Good afternoon everyone, welcome to the weekend, and Happy Valentine’s Day. Thank you for checking in. We appreciate all the support and trust you place in our team. We will make it short today, so let’s get started.

Black Went Out, Polish Came In

We sent out a big batch of standard black today and received the polish back in. The polish items have begun final processes. Please see the tables below for details. As always, if you have any questions simply call (561.582.6171) or email us and we will get you squared away.

The Lathe is Back Up Cutting Water Necks

First the good news. The lathe where we have been running the Hellcat/Demon Thermostat Housings, and the soon to be released Jeep Thermostat Housings, is back up and making chips. We will have those wrapped up and starting to go to finishes in about two weeks.

Stock Statuses

Inventory status on all parts is up to date on the website. You can find that information in the availability section of each individual part on the store side of the website. Those stock statuses remain unchanged from the update posted on February 12th.

Destroyer Grey Catch Can Issue

Family we had some issues with the destroyer grey catch cans that came back in early last week. We will be getting those back late this afternoon (as of this writing). The team will get them inspected, and start getting those shipped out next week to you guys.

Anyone that had an under hood kit, or under hood pieces, with your can, we are wrapping up those engravings and final processes to ship your packages out also.

Coolant Tank Covers

Many of you with satin coolant tank covers will start to see your tracking details next week (if you did not order any type of custom engraving on them). We are on final op’s now to make the completed part. We ran 318 pieces, and have 19 left to sell on this batch.

The colors, and polished coolant tanks will start to go to finishes late next week, or early the week of February 24th. As we mentioned in previous updates, our plater and powder coater ask us to send these covers on their own to be run in “lots” with no other pieces. This is the same way we send out the valve covers to be plated and coated.

Coil Pack Covers

With today’s return of the polish, we have coil pack covers that do not require any engraving shipping out now and any sets that need engraving will be on a machine next week.

Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping within 1-5 days of order.

We are waiting for more black fittings and we will see those come back in from powder coating early next week. So, those of you with a satin can and black fittings you may be seeing your can in “ready to ship” status. We are only waiting for the fittings to come back in from powder coating. Once we have those fittings we will assemble your cans and get them out the door to you.

Lead Time for Final Processes

If you see your order has come back in from finish please allow us 7-14 days to complete any final processes to ship you order. Catch can only orders, without accessory pieces, in these batches that have come back in, we will have them assembled and shipping in a couple days.
