Manufacturing Update January 12th, 2017

Good afternoon and welcome to the very latest Manufacturing Update.

Please let us remind everyone from the sale we lost three weeks total from outside services and used December to focus on the holiday order requests. January is the month when a good portion of the sale orders and the balance of December items are going to go out for outside services and or finish up completely.

This update is to primarily focus on orders that have come back from outside processes and to update you on what has headed out. Don’t see your number? You will soon as we are working diligently and to the timetable of our platter to send out additional items to get coated. As always please call for the latest info. Be mindful we will always take a conservative approach when giving you info so as not to overpromise on something. Chances are good it will happen sooner but we would rather err on the side of caution if you will.

Out of Stock Items

In this update we also have setup a table of orders waiting for out of stock items, and parts that need manufacturing.

These orders mostly include “devo” style strut covers (manufacturing again late next week), water necks (manufacturing) and hood props. If you had multiple items on your order with any those three items, chances are you had a partial shipment or will have a shipment coming out to you with the items we are already working on. We do not hold an order. We ship what we have available and no extra shipping charges are incurred.

PayPal

Finally as many of you know PayPal is an instant transaction. Many years ago we did the honor system, but unfortunately we had to stop. As we tell you in the How Do I Pay For my Order article, please reach out if you are never comfortable with that, especially during major sale events we will work with you to arrange other options.

At this point in time if we are receiving disputes on orders paying with PayPal we are issuing a refund and moving the orders to the next person in line. We definite don’t want to lose your business, but at that point it’s probably best for you to explore other options and we part ways.

We are as up front as possible with our policies and do our best to communicate with you through all channels (website, social media, personal interaction). This is why the annual November event was the last one in 2016 as stated in that original posts and articles concerning the countdown event and expanded as well as reiterated again below.

How Holiday Downtimes Effects Lead Times

We lose three weeks of outside services work every year (one week Thanksgiving two weeks December/January). Even planning ahead as we do, some things will get bogged down in the process this is why we encourage you not to use PayPal during those times and use a credit card or call.

A Prime example of the volume over 1600 unique items that we sell went to plate (color) late week. More products have gone out on top of what we have already shipped and there has been a lot of stuff that shipped or that is working on this is not notated here.

Once more it’s not for lack of product it’s what can we reasonably put with our outside service providers without bogging them down and without quality compromise. We machine and engrave here only we do not do any colors, powder coat or polish.

All information concerning out of stock orders, and things we are currently working on are still effective from the January 5th update, and all products are current with availability statues as of the posting of this update. Most of those include Challenger supercharger coolant reservoir cover, hood props, various under hood pieces. We are, and will continue to build and replenish stock frequently until we come out of the massive amount of orders from the countdown and December. January has also been extremely busy but we are keeping pace now that everyone is back to work including our vendor partners.

If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to reach out. If you don’t see your order number and you have satin machine finish items you will more than likely be in the engrave queue or in final package unless your order still needs to be manufactured.

Water Necks

One last bit of info on product; if you ordered a water neck they are manufactured and satin machine finishes have started to ship and all colors and polish will be heading for outside services next week at some point.

Fun Facts

Finally a fun fact for the items that went out to finish on this update for blue and black. 298 unique pieces we sell to you went up to blue anodize, and 378 unique pieces we sell to you to the standard semi gloss black finish. To say that y’all are keeping us hopping and on our toes is an understatement. For this we say thank you and most importantly we never want to compromise quality in an effort to rush the processes thru. We realize you have choices and appreciate you. Thank you for your trust.
