Manufacturing Update January 29, 2021

Good afternoon BT family. It’s Friday, and the end of the month. The days are getting a bit longer, and even though it’s cold out, in another month we will be moving those clocks ahead, getting ready for show season!

Today we are going to keep it brief, as we are hard at work replenishing inventory, assembling parts, and getting these orders on their way to you. We have a new color we will be showing you next week, so stay tuned to our social media channels (Facebook | Instagram) for updates.

Reds and Black Batches Out

In today’s update we sent a bunch of the red, black, matte red, and matte black batches out. An assortment of catch cans, and other parts have headed out to plating, so we can get the last of these orders from the holiday season completed and shipped to you guys.

The batches of standard red, and black, anodize actually went out to be plated on Tuesday. Those orders should be ready for us by the middle of next week.

ETA for Batches Still Out for Color

Folks we should be seeing the blue, matte blue, orange, matte orange, and roman gold metallic back late next week.

Colors On Deck

The next round of colors that will be going out are purple, matte purple, titanium, copper and clear anodize. These batches will go out next week.

Factory Color Match Options

Just to touch base again, the ETA we posted in last week’s update regarding factory color options is still on target.

The F8 Green, and Redline Red will be back in the coming week.

Then we will send out B5 Blue, and Octane Red.

If we can move these dates in sooner we will.

Lead Time for Final Processes

Please allow us 7-14 days to complete any assembly or final processes such as engraving when you see your order has come back from finish prior to us shipping it out to you. Again when in doubt please reach out to us (email or phone: 561.582.6171).

Credit Card Reauthorizations

If we took the 30% deposit after you placed your order (credit card order only. PayPal is instant.), you will see us reauthorize your card for the balance due. This means the items are nearing completion to ship out, or we have sent your order out for plating/powder coating.  If you log in and see your order as Pending Shipment that means the pieces have been engraved and are going through final quality control before heading into Andrea.  When the orders move to pending to ship this is when we will charge out your credit card.  

PayPal

Speaking of PayPal, please do not forget these are instant payments.

If you are uncomfortable with that, and with us holding your funds until we ship your product, PLEASE reach out to us. We will work with you.

As we mention in our Payment Terms: if you dispute your payment prior to us shipping your products, we will automatically cancel your order.

We understand when it comes to your money, trust is delicate.

We are a working shop. Many times you guys and gals have called in to us, and you have heard the noise in the background. It’s really hard to hear in the shop.

Stock Statuses

We will have all inventory availability updated in the online store for each individual product before the end of the day. When in doubt just give us a call (561.582.6171).

Hood Strut Covers

Hood strut/shock covers are manufactured, and starting to ship in satin.

All satin back orders have been packaged by the lovely Andrea, and are on the way to your door step now.

Neal bundled colors up today, and we will start getting those out for plating, and powder coating, starting next week.

Fuse Boxes

Fuse boxes, all styles, are being manufactured. We won’t see too much of a delay on those.

Coolant Tank Covers

These will be running all of February. Folks these covers are going to be on the machine for a good month, as we build back orders, and build inventory for the spring.

We need to finish up a few small production items, and non BT jobs, and then coolant tank covers will go on the machine.

Don’t forget you can custom engrave your coolant tank. So if you are waiting, and have been wanting to do a custom graphic, it’s not too late.

(a recent order for one of our amazing clients. This particular design is being retired exclusive to the customer. We can create a one off for you too)

Satin Catch Cans

Satin cans ordered between January 22nd, and January 28th are clearing the assembly queue now and heading in to Andrea FOR packaging and to ship to your doorstep.

Satin cans are shipping within 3- 7 days of ordering.

If you need us to ship next business day from ordering let us know in the order comments section, if you are ordering online. If you are placing your order over the phone, let the friendly BT staff member, who is taking your call, know, and we will take care of that for you.

Upcoming Manufacturing Runs

Material has been ordered for the following products:

• Transmission Cap Covers
• Devo Style Strut Covers
  (Finally! Yes these are going on right after we complete the hood shock cover production run. We know many of you are ready to come and burn the shop down these are getting really old)
• Track Hawk Supercharger Coolant Reservoir Covers
• PCV Covers.

We will begin manufacturing all of these during the first two weeks of February.
