Manufacturing Update January 7, 2022

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to the first Friday of 2022, and as promised we have double updates for you this week.

Today we will keep it short with some fill in on what we covered earlier in the week, and stock status updates on a few more products. We’ve got information on which batches are on deck, as well as what to expect when we visit with you here again on Friday, January 14th. Let’s get started!

Discontinued Items Heading to the BT Vault

An end of an era on a couple of products as we’ll be retiring the T-Handle shifter and the 2011-2013 Ram Fuse box covers.

T-Handle Shifters

We did a last run of those about a year ago and they finally sold out last week. It’s been a great run of 15 plus years with that particular product. The T-Handle Shifter came to about as a direct result of Team BT working with Charger Forms members back in 2007 to nail a design that the consensus loved.

As with all things they come to an end, and the T-Handle goes into the Billet Tech Vault. The great thing is we can always bring it back. We have done so on products before. So we never say good-bye, as it’s possible we’ll see you again one day in the future.

2011-2013 Ram Fuse Box Covers

These Fuse Box Covers just don’t move, period. We did a small 20 count MFG run of these in March 2021, and finally sold the last one on Christmas Day. If we see people requesting them again, we could bring them back on a group buy, just as we have done with the 2005-2007 Charger, Magnum and 300 Fuse Boxes. For now they are off to the BT Vault and retired.

Inventory Updates

Hellcat Super Charger Coolant Reservoir Covers

We have very low stock on the Hellcat Super Charger Coolant Reservoir covers. That’s the smaller cover over the fuse box. We will probably sell out in the coming week.

We will run these again at the end of the month with stock back on the shelf in satin machine finish sometime in February. If we have to change or move anything around, we of course will keep you up to date on that.

Under Hood Caps

As you can probably imagine between The People’s Sale and our holiday promos in the last quarter of 2021 we sold a LOT of stuff. We are running our under hood caps in quick batches to keep the orders moving.

Washer fluid caps are pretty low stock right now, but we are not moving them to low or no stock status since material is here. We will bang out another 200 units next week so there will literally be no disruptions there.

Satin Machine Catch Cans

Satin machine finish catch cans ordered through January 6th have cleared assembly and are in shipping.

Only a couple cans with black or nickel fittings are not in the packing queue as we are waiting for our shipments of those to come in next week. We are shipping satin machine finished catch cans within 5 days.

Power Seat Covers

Power seat covers are back in stock. We are shipping satin machine finishes currently. Colors and polish are going out to our vendor partners now.

Batches Out

Below you will find the tables for polish that went out to our polisher on Tuesday afternoon and also the table for Frostbite Blue that went out to the west coast for paint on Wednesday. We have more color match going next week so tune in next Friday or give us a call early next week and we can get you an update over the phone.

Indigo Blue

We know many of you have been waiting on the batch of Indigo Blue to come back in. Great news! It’s nearly complete. We have added to that batch with new orders since it’s in process. Thank you for your patience, we promise you will love it.

Color Batches On Deck

Next rounds of colors going out early next week are:

• Burnt Orange and Matte Orange Anodize
• Blue and Matte Blue Anodize
• Black Anodize
• Matte Black Anodize
• More factory paint match (sublime, destroyer grey, octane red, redline, smokeshow)

Last Call: Lime Green Metallic & Sublime

We are putting out a final call for Lime Green Metallic Powder Coat and Sublime Color Match Paint. We do not sell a lot of those two finishes. Even though we love these colors, and we know you do as well, we’ve got to retire them to the BT Vault.

As you all know, we do not paint or powder coat here at our facility, we have to have a lot minimum to get any type of batches out to our painter or powder coater for any color. This creates an even longer lead time as we wait for enough orders/parts to meet that minimum batch quantity.

All open sublime orders will be heading for paint within the next 7-10 days and we can add on as needed if we get more orders before we discontinue the sublime at the end fo the month

We have a handful of lime green metallic orders that still need powder coated. We do plan to have those to powder coat the third week of January. Lime Green and sublime will come off the drop down list for ordering on all our products on January 24th.
