Manufacturing Update June 29, 2022

Good afternoon BT family. Welcome to the final Manufacturing Update for June 2022. We are now six months in to this year and man has it been another wild one.

First, our team thanks you! We know it’s very hard for many of our customers, and friends right now. As we told you back in 2020, when the lock downs and pandemic was in full effect, Team BT will be here with you.

Today’s update will be brief and cover what’s out and what has come back in from finishes.

Factory Color Match

The factory color match items are still taking the longest amount of time. However, just as we posted last week, things are moving along with the B5 Blue finishing up now, with Redline Red, F8 Green along with Smokeshow right in behind those finishes. Right after July 4^th we will do a full paint update for you guys and gals.

Anodize & Powder Coat

All other finishes are moving quickly. Anodize colors are coming back within a weeks time.

In fact you will see the matte black, matte red, as well as the blue and matte blue on today’s update as back. Those orders turned around in one week and many of you in those batches placed your orders in May and early June. They have already shipped or are wrapping up final processes now in our shop.

Powder coating is taking approximately 15 days from the time we send the orders out on those finishes (racing red metallic, yellow, white, and lime green metallic).

Quick Inventory Update

All inventory is up to date on the website we are in good shape on all our product offerings. We have been ordering material in advance to keep things moving, knowing we are running into shortages on some sizes and are seeing limits on what we can purchase.  

Coil Pack Covers

We will begin machining all backordered sets right after we come back from the July 4^th weekend. We have 55 sets to manufacture on current business. We have enough material to put 12 sets on the shelf for inventory as of todays update.

If you want a set now would be a good time while we can get material, and while we are running our July 4th sale at 25% off, before the price increase on July 11^th.

Coolant Tank Covers

These will go on the machine right after the coil pack covers with an eta for first chips flying late the week of July 18th.

Uni-Strut Covers

Uni-Struts will be on the lathe late the week of July 11th.

Fuse Box Covers (all styles all years)

We are running them as soon as we get our allotment of material. We received more material this week and popped those right back on as we ran z-brackets side by side with the fuse box covers on the same machine.

Satin Catch Cans

We are shipping satin machine finish catch cans within 3-5 business days.
