Manufacturing Update March 20, 2020

Good afternoon family. We hope everyone is staying safe during these most uncertain times.

Thank You, We are in this together

We want to thank you all for your continued business, new orders over the past week, and for our customers with current business in. Thank you for sticking with us.

We know many of you are nervous, and stressed. States are shutting down, airports closing, life as we know it has literally turned upside down. At no other time, with the exception of the World Wars, has the word been as nervous, and uncertain.

When this passes, and it shall, we will begin to resume the things we love to do, and have a greater appreciation for them.

Your BT Team Continues to work and our amazing vendor partners are working also and we will do so for as long as we as we are able too. Our team is taking all the proper precautions. 

We ask you to stay tuned here to our website, and our social media pages, if things change, and we have to be sent home my mandate of State Executive Order or Federal Order.

Colors In, Colors Out

We sent out batches of lime green and black for color. As you see from today’s update we have received the matte black, and white back in this week.

We have started to ship the catch cans out on those orders, and you will see your order has either shipped, or moved in to “ready to ship status”.

We have sorted the remainder of the parts of those two batches into the shop to begin all final engravings, and are getting those pieces ready to ship.

Color Batches Still Out

The following finishes are still out, and should all be back next week if our supplier partners are not ordered to shut down:

• Red Line Red Pear from March 4th
• Racing Red Metallic from March 6th
• Clear and Matte Clear Anodize from March 10th
• Copper all finishes (machine, matte and liquid) from March 10th
• Matte Red from March 16th
• Orange and Matte Orange from March 16th

Color Batches Being Prepped

The following finishes are bundled up to send to our supplier partners. If our team and partners can remain open the following will be heading out to finish next week.

• Blue and Matte Blue
• Titanium and Matte Titanium
• Standard Red Anodize

Under Hood Kits Starting to Ship on Monday

We have a bunch of under hood kits and accessory pieces (fuse covers, coolant tanks, coil pack covers etc) ready to ship starting Monday. These include not only our satin machine finish, but the following finishes that have come back in the past two weeks:

• Red anodize
• Purple and matte purple
• Destroyer Grey
• Polish

Catch Cans

All satin catch cans through close of business yesterday have moved into ready to ship status. Andrea is packing as quickly as possible, and we will have those cans out to you Monday at the very latest.

To our dealer partners with satin cans:
The remainder of your bulk orders placed through March 10th: those cans have shipped or are waiting for pickup and will be out the door Monday afternoon.

We are using FedEX, UPS and USPS for shipping so we can get as much product out now as possible. The one thing through all of this is you folks have continued to keep us busy and we are very grateful.

Stock Status: PCV Caps Misc.

We are in good shape stock status wise on all products the only thing we have run out of is the PCV Caps for the PCV Covers. The covers are shipping and or going to finishes less the caps. We will get another round manufactured if things are able to stay open here, and our material can be delivered the week of March 30th. Refer to the March 16th update where we went over stock status more in depth and that is still effective today.

Lead Time for Final Processes

Finally if you see your order has come back in please allows us up to 14 days to complete any final processes such as engraving and or assembly prior to shipping. Stand alone catch can orders will ship asap, and as already mentioned most have.

March Modness

As you know, recent developments caused March Madness to be cancelled. Well BT Nation, be on the lookout next week for our very own tournament… March Modness!!! We’ll share more details on this Monday.

We are no longer taking visitors for local pickup, and have suspended any shop tours until April 15th. If you have arranged to have a local pickup we will ship your products to you with no extra costs or shipping charges.

Our Team will continue to monitor events over the weekend, and keep everyone up to date.
