Manufacturing Update September 23, 2022

Good afternoon. Welcome to Friday. As always, our team thanks all of you for the trust you place in us and for your generous and continued support. Let’s jump in and get you guys and gals up to speed on what’s going on at the BT HQ

Factory Color Match Paint

On the color match front, the batch of Indigo Blue, from all the way back when we sent it out on June 7th, is back in.
The batch of Indigo Blue from August is also painted and will be shipping back to us next week.

All the outstanding paint match is just about wrapped up on the paint processes.

The Plum Crazy, Smoke Show, Destroyer Grey, and Sublime are also finishing up at paint with the bulk fo those parts painted. Those batches will be inbound to us early next week. We will get started on those batches immediately upon arrival.

We have another painter working with us and we have been sending TorRed and Octane Red out to him with a 7 day turn around. The Redline batch we sent on the September 16th update is already back and shipping to customers. These have been the “by request” orders since we took the paint match down. Octane and TorRed are the most popular paint match colors when those were available.

Factory Color Match Returns in October

In October we will reintroduce the factory colors again. However we will do so in a responsible manner that ensures you, our clients, are not waiting MONTHS to get your orders. We will accomplish this by spreading batches out between our two suppliers, and offering colors in batches.

We will open up “groups” of two colors at a time, available only for specified timeframe. When that time is over we will close those colors out, send those batches to our two paint partners. Then we will open up availability of two different factory colors. Literally an old school group buy.

Anodize and Powder Coat Batches Sent Out

We sent a bunch of parts out for anodize out this week, along with one to powder coat. Batches of Standard Red, Standard Black, Purple and Matte Purple went out for plating. A batch of Racing Red Metallic went to powder coat. Check the tables below to find your order.

Anodize and Powder Coat On Deck

We will be sending batches of blue, matte blue next week, clear anodize, titanium, racing red metallic, yellow, as well as orange and matte orange anodize out next. If you are thinking about placing an order for those finishes, go ahead so you can make it into these batches as they are on deck for next week.

Stock Statuses

We did an inventory update last week and that information remains on point.

Mopar Super Charged Thermostat Housings

Hellcat Durango, Trackhawk & RAM TRX Thermostat Housings (water necks) are wrapping up manufacturing now. All satin back orders will start to ship next week.

Hellcat thermostat housings are going on the lathe next, and those will start to ship the following week in satin. Colors will be heading to out for finishes and then shipping all through October.

Throttle Body Covers & Hellcat Bypass Valve Covers

2013 and up throttle body covers as well as the Hellcat bypass valve covers are on the machine right now.

Shipping in satin will start again next week. Colors all through October.

Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping within 3-5 days from order placement.
