Manufacturing Update August 14, 2020

Good afternoon friends, and family. Thank you for checking in. As we always start each update, our team appreciates your support, your trust, and allowing us to be part of your ownership experiences.

We have a quite a bit cover today, so please if there is anything that you need help with, after you read the update, do not hesitate to pickup the phone, and give us a call.

COVID Updates & Delays

As we let you know we may, and have been, experiencing delays as it relates parts and or ares of our supply chain. Now the train stopped at BT, and some of our crew have come down with Covid.

Operations through this month

Because we practice social distancing, throughly clean, and sanitize nightly, as well as in between swing shifts the impact while hurting us is minimal. BT is still operational.

We simply ask you give us maybe an extra day to respond to those emails, and do leave your call back if you get the voicemail. We are a very small crew, and loosing even three of us effects the shop tremendously.

Phone, and email responses have been the most effected as our staff wears many hats, and we have had to fill in the gaps in the shop this past week.

Chips are flying, and packages are shipping. Just bare with us for another week so the rest of our group can return to their normal schedules.

As we have mentioned in our updates, since the Covid19 pandemic really hit in mid March, Team BT would be with you every step of the way. Not only do we build your beautiful bling, we support many other industries on our manufacturing floor, which are vital to our country.

Visitations and Local Pick Ups

We are suspending visitor tours until September 14th.

However, if you want to pick up your BT parts just call ahead, and we will have them ready for you in our shipping lobby.

Red Batches Came Back

Today we received the big batch of red anodize back from the July 20th update.

The matte red batch, that went on July 31st, has been through the color process, and is being sealed at our anodizer now. That batch will be back to us late Monday, or Tuesday, of next week. We have included it as “back” in today’s update since it’s nearly completed.

We will start shipping the stand alone catch cans, and non engraved items out of both batches next week.

White & Black Batches Went Out

We also sent out batches of white to powder coat, black and matte black anodize today. We should see those items back in approximately 2 weeks.

Racing Red Metallic

We have received some of the racing red metallic, that went out on July 17th, of that batch back in house.

The remainder will be back by the middle of next week. We will update you all at that time. Please call if you have racing red out from that batch for more information.

Color Batches On Deck

Next on deck to go out for finish is a large batch of polish that will be out on Tuesday of next week, as well as more orange, and red.

Factory Colors

The B5 Blue samples will be back in early next week. We will be sending the first wave of production orders for factory color match finishes late next week.

Stock Updates

We do have some stock status to cover as well. Please refer to the update from August 7th we are on point there. We have updated the availability of each individual product on website too.

Devo Strut Covers

Devo Strut Covers are back in stock

Oil Caps

Oil caps are back in stock.

Water Necks

Water necks, aka thermostat housings, all versions are manufacturing right now. Shipments will start late the week of August 24th, or early the week of August 31st. That also includes Trackhawk versions.

Supercharger Coolant Reservoir Covers

We sold out of Hellcat / Demon supercharger coolant reservoir covers this week. Our ETA to manufacture currently will be early September.

Sometime next week our team here should have the time frame narrowed down. When we order the material, and look at our schedule when we can put them on the machine to run them, we’ll let you know.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping within 3-5 days of ordering with the exception of fender bracket mounts.

We do have Hellcat brackets on the machine now. Anyone ordering for a Hellcat will be on the latter end of that lead-time.

Fender brackets are sold out. We have material here, and will manufacture them later next week.

Lead Time for Final Processes

Friends thats going to do it for today. Please remember if you see your order has come back in allow us a few days on the stand alone catch cans to get those assembled and shipped out to you.

If you have pieces that need engraving, etc, allow us up to 14 days to complete those processes, or any secondary operations, before we get your order into the shipping queue.
