Manufacturing Update July 24, 2020

Good afternoon everyone, welcome to Friday. Aa always, our sincerest thanks for your trust, and for allowing us to be part of your ownership experiences.

Stock Status Updates

We have a couple products we are low stock on. Please see below and the ETA on when we will doing the next MFG Run.

We did loose approximately two weeks of machine time for repairs, and we are working hard to get that time caught up. As always, we the team will keep you posted on any parts we are low on, and the availability next to each products’ unit price on the store. Yes, we keep those up to date as well.

Fuse Box Covers (some, not all)

2014-2020 Dodge Challenger Fuse Box Covers we are very very low on these, and will probably sell out today. Same with the 2011-2020 Dodge Charger.

Due to equipment repairs we are running about two weeks behind schedule on replenishing inventory. We have material scheduled to come in the week of August 10th. The plan is to have these covers knocked out, and replenished by the middle of August in satin machine finish.

If you have a fuse box cover on order, and your item has not shipped, or gone to colors yet, please reach out if you need additional details.

If we send your order out for color, and you have a fuse box that did not make it to finish we will notify you in the “Notes” section of the table. It will read: “all pieces less fuse box cover” and we will do our best to pinpoint when to expect it.

Sigma Series Radiator Cap & Supercharger Coolant Cap Covers

Sigma Series Radiator Cap Covers, and Supercharger Coolant cap covers, we had one left as of today’s posting.

These will sell out this weekend not even in doubt. This item is quickly overtaking the classic Billet Tech Radiator Cap as the best seller of the styles. As mentioned in the fuse boxes above, we are running about two weeks behind schedule on replenishing inventory. We won’t get to manufacture another round of these until the week of August 17th.

If this changes we will update you in a future MFG Update article.

Everything Else

All other products are up to date in the availability area, next to the unit price, on each product. You can always refer back to the past couple of updates, on any stock statues, and the ETAs to run those pieces.

Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping within 3-5 business days of ordering. We have two orders from July 17th in satin that are the oldest here that did not get out today, but those cans are now boxed up, and in shipping ready to go Monday.

All cans from July 18th through July 23rd in satin machine finish will be shipping Monday, and Tuesday of next week. Any current business (today and through the weekend) we will have you out by the middle of next week.

Remember folks, if you need us to ship your satin catch can the next business day, let us know in the order comments when checking out. If ordering over the phone, let the friendly BT Teammate, who is helping you with that order, know you need it shipped tomorrow, and we will get that handled for you.

Titanium is Back, Purple Went Out

We received the titanium, and matte titanium, back from plating. We also sent out a batch of purple, and matte purple anodize for plating today. Check the order tables below for more information.

Batches Still Out for Finish

The following finishes are still out:

• Yellow from July 8th
• Machine Copper, and matte finished copper from July 14th
• White from July 14th
• Clear, and matte clear anodize from July 17th
• Lime Green from July 21st

Copper Batch Early Next Week

When we dropped off the purple today, the copper was in the anodize tanks being finished. We should see those orders back early to mid next week.

Roman Gold Copper Metallic

As mentioned, we had sent some products out to be powder coated in an effort to get something to replace the liquid copper finish. We have gotten in the samples of Roman Gold Copper Metallic, and received a lot of positive feed back.

So, it is now a new color option. We actually took about a dozen orders for that finish since we showed it off on the socials Wednesday.

It’s not a match for those of you with prior liquid copper orders. However, it’s a nice finish, and will actually play nicely with the old liquid copper anodize. Think Snickers Bar.

Darker color on the chocolate outside, and the lighter carmel inside.

Triple Bronze is on Deck

We have some triple bronze powder coat dye on order, and we will have some samples to show you all in approximately 7-10 days.

Please take a look at the update from July 8th concerning the liquid copper discontinuation. The team here has communicated with every customer, that had a liquid copper order in house, which had not shipped yet. We are moving forward pursuant to those effected and his or hers wishes on how to proceed.

Factory Colors in August!

Finally, and this is very good news indeed, factory color matched BT bling will be back on the website to order on August 3rd! Lead-time will be approximately 3-5 weeks from date of order on in stock items.

We will be bringing back Octane Red, Redline Red, Destroyer Grey, Jazz Blue, F8 Green, and adding B5 Blue to the line up.

We will add other colors as things ramp up again. The Covid 19 pandemic absolutely decimated our vendor partner who is just now coming back online.

We made efforts to try to source these color match options from others, and the quality results were erratic, and not close at all.

We are pleased, and excited, to relaunch the color match options and introduce new choices in the 3rd, and 4th quarter of 2020.
