Manufacturing Update June 4, 2021

Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to June. We are now halfway through the year that has been 2021. Because of all of you we continue to set new records each month. Our team remains humbled by your trust and support.

We will keep it brief today, just updates on stock statues, and what has come back in and gone out for colors.

Inventory Update

Stock statues for each product are up to date on the website. You can find that information on the individual product’s page in the “Product Availability” section, which is located next to the unit price.

Lead Time for Colors and Polish

Please remember there is a lead-time for all colors and polished items, because we do not stock any other finish besides statin machine.

All colors or polish finishes are completed by one of our trusted vendor partners. At our shop we machine the parts, and do final engravings and assemblies.

Out of Stock Items

We are currently out of stock on the following products:

PCV Covers

These sold out this week. Next Run will be this month and probably towards the end of June.

Power Seat Covers

Sold out last weekend. Next MFG Run will be late June

Trackhawk Thermostat Housings

These are really selling now. We sold out yesterday. Material will be ordered next week, and on a machine the third week of June. Delivery in satin will start late June again colors in July.

2011-2018 Ram / Durango Fuse Box Covers

We sold out last weekend. Material came in Wednesday, and we are running them now. Expect very little delays. 19-21 model years we have inventory in blanks on the shelf ready for your finish and engraving choices.

Hellcat / Demon Super Charger Reservoir Covers

We sold out on Monday, and will be manufacturing them later this month. We should have an ETA to go on a machine on the next MFG Update, on June 11th.

Coil Pack Covers

Coil Packs are scheduled for the next production run the third week of June. Material will be in the week of June 14th.

Coolant Tank Covers

These will also be on a machine in late June.

Satin Catch Cans

Satin machine finish catch cans are shipping within 10 business days from ordering. As always if you need us to expedite your satin catch can simply let us know in the order comments when checking out online. If you’re calling your order in, tell the BT Team member you need your order sent out asap, and we’ll get it shipped the next business day.

BT is Adding Two New Machines

Folks you are buying the products as quickly as make them and replenish them. It’s astonishing the support and love we have received from you this year.

So much so that we have ordered two new CNC’s. We have a mill and lathe both ordered that’s the good news.

The bad news due to chip shortages, and shortages in general, we are looking at a 10-14 week delivery time frame. We should be seeing those two pieces arrive at our shop in August.

In the mean-time to keep up as best we can with your demands we are working split shifts and weekends.

Supply Shortages

It’s always taken time to receive our products but please do be patient. Keep in mind that not only are we busy, our supplier partners are extremely busy too.

As we have mentioned many times in our updates, we do not pressure our vendor/supplier partners. We want an exceptional finish, and a company to stand behind it.

This allows us to deliver an exceptional product to you and if in the rare case there is a problem we are able to address it, and take care of it to better serve you.

We are running into some shortages on things ourselves, and working around them as we can. This is not just our problem but a worldwide problem.

Colors In

This week we received the batches of Lime Green Metallic, White, Smoke Show and Frostbite back from finish. The team is hard at work banging out the final processes on these orders.

Some of you guys and gals will have already received shipping notifications on the orders that have come back in. As always if you have any questions at all regarding what has come back in or gone out on today’s update please call (561.582.6171) or email us for one on one assistance.

Lead Time for Final Processes

Please remember if you do see your order has come back in allow us up to two weeks to complete any engravings and assemblies to get your order shipped to you. Friends we literally have over 2,000 unique pieces back in our shop right now that are in our engraving queue.

We have had several folks come and visit with us over the past two weeks and everyone who walked in the door was “holy crap look at all the stuff”. You never see the satin machine finished items on any of these update tables because those parts are always kept in blanks on the shelf ready to either be engraved as is or sent to colors.

Therefore, as long as we have stock and we are always replenishing, satin machine finished items usually ship with 10-15 business days.

Color Batches Out

We sent out quite a few batches for color and polish this week. Copper, Matte Copper, Blue, Matte Blue batches went to anodize. We also added to the Racing Red batch already out for color. See the tables below for more information.

Color Batches on Deck

Next round of colors that will be gong out next week will be:

• Yellow Powder Coat
• Titanium and Matte Titanium Anodize
• Orange and Matte Orange Anodize
• Standard Red Anodize
• Standard Black Anodize

Color Batches Still Out

The following finishes are still out:

• TorRed:
  – It will be back late next week. The finish is completed and will be shipping back to us from Monday.
• Racing Red Metallic:
  – It will definitely be back in by the middle of next week. We added into the batch from early May, and all orders that are currently out for that finish will be ready to us to pickup next week.
• Standard Red Anodize:
  – The batch from May 21st will be ready for us to pickup late Monday afternoon.
• Plum Powder Coat:
  – The batch from May 21st will be ready for us to pickup next week as well.
• Sublime Green:
  – The batch from May 27th
• F8 Green:
  – The batch from May 27th
• Octane Red:
  – The batch rom May 27th
• Frostbite:
  – The batch from May 27th
• B5 Blue:
  – Misc parts from various open orders went on Tuesday June, 1st
• Destroyer Grey:
  – Misc parts from various open orders went on Tuesday June 1st.

Color Matched Orders

Folks a special note on the Sublime, F8 Green Octane Red, Frostbite, B5 Blue, and Destroyer Grey: We sent a bunch of fuse boxes out earlier this week and other misc product such as hood shock covers, washer fluid caps, radiator caps, coolant reservoir covers and supercharger reservoir covers.

Please call in to us if you have any of these factory finishes, and are missing pieces, or have an order in so we can get you a one on one update.

More Color Matched Batches

We will be going with more rounds of all factory color matches starting next week, so check in next Friday or call us for details. We also will be adding Plum Crazy Purple factory color match to the site early next week for ordering.
