Manufacturing Update May 27, 2021

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to the last Manufacturing Update for May 2021. We are half way through the year, the time has flown by. We are grateful to all of you for the support and trust you place in our team. We can’t wait to see where you take us next as we get ready to open up the second half of 2021!

Today we will keep it brief and let you know what has come back in and gone out for finishes.

Color Batches Back

On today’s update you will see that the Matte Black, Standard Black, Orange, and Matte Orange are all completed and back in at the shop.

We have sorted these orders, and are building the stand alone catch cans now. You will see those orders moving to pending to ship status/ready to ship status and charged out if there is a balance left on your credit card.

All orders that need engravings please allow up to 15 business days to get them finished, and into Andrea to ship.

Color Batches Out

We sent a large batch of Standard Red anodize out this week, you can find more info in the red table below the article.

On Wednesday, June 2nd we will be sending all the catch cans that have z brackets out for red anodize. Don’ worry if you have an order in red for a catch can, and are waiting, and don’t see your order on the table below. We will get your can to our platers next week, and shipped out to you asap.

We added on to the racing red metallic batch (still at powder coat) and also sent random pieces out for various color matching finishes (see the tables below).

These were mostly items that needed redo’s for QC issues, or parts we did not have in stock when we sent your orders out for color match.

Batches Still Out

The following batches are still out to be completed. We should be seeing all of those back in our shop within the next week to ten days.

• White Powder Coat sent on May 7th.
• Racing Red Metallic sent on May 14th.
• Plum Powder Coat sent on May 21th
• Lime Green sent on May 21th.
• Frostbite sent out on May 21th.
• TorRed sent out on May 21th.
• Smoke Show sent on May 21th.

Color Batches On Deck

Finally, just to keep everyone informed, the next round of finishes going out will be Polish, Blue, Matte Blue, more Matte Black and Matte Red.

Anthony will be by on Wednesday to pickup a huge batch of polish to get those orders completed. We have already started to bundle up the other finishes to get those orders out to plate by late next week.

We are starting to get more Octane Red, Redline Red, F8 Green, and B5 Blue prepped and ready for paint.

Uncompromised Quality

Like us, our vendor partners are slammed. As we do here and as they do, quality will never be compromised to just get things out the door. We are not hacks here and only work with reputable vendors who do exceptional work.

If there are any problems they will be resolved to your satisfaction. We don’t pass the buck here, nor will we ignore you. We fix it or we refund your money. We do not disappear post sale, and are here to support you before, during, and after you make your purchase.

Stock Status Update

Stock statuses are current on the website, and as always, if you have questions on availability do call us.

Satin Catch Cans

Folks we are moving over 1,000 units per month with more than half in satin machine finish. Satin catch cans orders from May 17th to current business are in the assembly queue, or in with Andrea to ship.

Let us know in the comments section if checking out online, or if you are calling in to place your order, let the friendly BT rep on the other end know this, and we will make it happen.

Catch Can Brackets

We just replenished Hellcat and Hellcat RedEye (Charger/Challenger) brackets so those satin can orders will be moving from pending to ship to ready to ship in the next couple days.

Z bracket material will be in tomorrow and will start getting those Z Bracket catch can orders moved from “pending to ship” to “ready to ship” starting Friday morning (tomorrow).

Coolant Tank Covers

Currently we have 38 coolant tank covers in the shop in many finishes to be either designer cut, or custom engraved. Next week Nico will be engraving all of those customs.

We have many elaborate themes, and will need at least 4-5 days to get all those buttoned up. We will be shipping your orders as they come off the machine.

If you have questions do call in. Most of you should have your rendering from Nick Billet on those coolant tank covers, as long as they are back in from finish.

Coil Pack Covers

Coil pack covers that have been back from finish are going to start to be engraved later this afternoon. We will have those all buttoned up, and ready to ship next week.

The next manufacturing run for those will be in early June.

Fuse Box Covers

Fuse box covers (all years and vehicles) are in manufacturing now.

Satin machine finishes will start to ship again late next week. Colors will start to go out for finishes starting late next week, and will ship all through June.
