Manufacturing Update June 26, 2018

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the latest Manufacturing Update for June 26, 2018. It hard to believe we are six months in already for 2018 and this is our 37th update for the year. For those of you following along we truly appreciate you doing so.

Phone & Email: Hours, VMs, Replies

As always if you have any questions regarding any of the information posted or just need some additional help or questions answered please do not hesitate to call or email us. Remember our phone lines are live 6:00 A.M. through 3:30 P.M. Monday-Friday and we make every effort to reply to your emails within 24 hours. If you do not hear back from us within the specified auto-responder time frame please do call. Sometimes we miss something, or a message may go to our spam. We definite are human and make mistakes and our goal is to provide you with great service to go along with an excellent product.

Fuse Box Covers

Just a quick update from the update from a few days ago we are running fuse box covers for all 2008 and up Charger, Challenger and 300’s again. We also have fender brackets on the machine and Hellcat catch can brackets are going on before the end of the week.

Valve Covers

Valve covers in satin machine finish with orders through June 20th will be shipping in the next several days and we have sets that went to black anodize and clear anodize today. Those expedited anodize finished sets will be ready in a couple of days and will get them packaged up and out the door as soon as we receive them back from plate and they clear inspection.

Colors Still Out at Plate

The following finishes are still out at plate as of todays update:

• Red from June 12th
• Matte Red from June 18th
• Matte Black from June 18th
• Copper Bronze all finished (matte, machine and liquid) from June 19th
• Blue and Matte Blue from June 19th

Titanium (Matte & Standard) is Back

We received the titanium and matte titanium back today and you can view the table below to see if you order has come back in. We are currently sorting those pieces and orders from that batch. The catch cans from that batch are moving into assembly, as well as any other parts that need final process for buttoning up. Remember folks to allow us 7-15 days to complete any of these steps to ship your order complete or partial ship your order to you. If you need it quicker please contact us so we can work towards your schedule and we make every effort to do so.

We will definitely have another round of colors and some polish going out for finishes prior to the July 4th holiday.

July 4th

Speaking of July 4th Team BT will be up and operational both Monday and Tuesday July 2nd and 3rd, however, we will be closed July 4th for the holiday and July 5th and 6th will have a very limited crew here at the facility. Chips will still be flying, next week but on a limited basis and the office will be closed.

Maintenance

We do a complete shop maintenance twice per year, above and beyond our normal routine maintenance that we do weekly. The major overhaul takes place the last couple of days in December each year and the July 4th week. Part of that major maintenance is a complete tear down of each machine, completely cleaning every nook and cranny and just a top to bottom cleaning out of our machines. Inspection equipment is checked for proper calibrations and an over all office clean up and audit is also done during the July 4th week.

Pre 4th Updates

We will be posting another one, and possibly two updates prior to the holiday so please stay tuned. We also should be receiving more plating and powder coating back prior to our valued outside suppliers taking their semi annual breaks next week from the 4th through the 9th of July. We definitely will not be receiving any items back from outside services during that time span and we want to keep you in the loop there so to speak.

Show Season

As we are in the heart of show season, we understand many of you are looking for your parts. If you have an event you are attending please let us know this so we can work towards your schedule. If you are ordering satin machine finished parts we do keep blanks in stock here on most all of our products and we usually ship within two weeks of ordering satin products. The colors and polish items are what you will need to let us know about if you have a need by date.
