Manufacturing Update June 29, 2018

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the final Manufacturing Update for June 2018. What a tremendous first half of 2018 it has been, and it is because of you guys and gals. We eclipsed all of last years totals earlier this month, and thats just astonishing to us.

Our Customers are the Highest Priority at BT

In a nutshell thank you just never seems enough! We understand you have choices, many of you know coming in that you wait, and that fact that you come still is incredible. Our goal during the entire process is to be of service to you before, during and after the sale. We do so before the sale by being clear and concise with our links regarding our operations, what to expect, why we work the way we do, lead-time info and these manufacturing updates.

We make every effort to answer your emails within 24 hours or sooner, however, we do ask you to allow us a few days due to the volume of email we do receive. If we do not reply call us. If you get the voice mail leave your call back number. There are only nine of us here and we wear many hats. We are not ignoring you, we may just be in the shop, on the phone with another client or out grabbing supplies or picking up parts from powder coating or plating.

Talking to you and communicating with you along with providing the best parts in the industry is our top priority here, and one we work towards improving on daily. You will never have to beg on a forum to get us to communicate with you.

Volume and Satin Products Lead Time

For those of you who follow these updates on a regular basis you can see the amount of volume going through the facility. This does not include any satin orders as we keep all our products in that beautiful signature Billet Tech satin machine finish on the shelf. We usually turn around products in satin machine finish within 15 days of ordering and we move a lot of satin machine finished product here each month too.

Product Stock Status

We have some product information we need to go over for you stock wise so lets get started there:

• Transmission Cap Covers
  We are very low stock on those. We will probably sell out over the weekend. Material will be here the week of July 9th so little impact on parts being engraved in machine satin, or going for colors or polish
• PCV Covers
  We have two left and will sell out this weekend. Material will not come in until sometime during the week of July 16th so do expect some delays there.
• Hellcat Dual Catch Can Mounts
  We are very low stock on those. We will be starting another run of those the week of July 9th little impact or delays for those of you who plan on running twins.
• Fuse Box Covers
  All styles are currently wrapping up another production run here and will have satin machine finish blanks on the shelf again prior to July 4th with product ready to be engraved again right after the July 4th holiday break. Colors on fuse boxes will begin to go out as well as polish the week of July 9th again
• Park Lock Outs
  Yep BT was the true originator of the billet aluminum fix. We do have distributors overseas and in the middle east who still move this product for us. We pull it from out site as we run out of our own stock now as that product has seen better days here as far as sales go and our time is better served in keeping other items moving through the process. With that said we had two more bulk orders come in from our overseas dealer partners this past week and will run some off for our own inventory again. Look for that product to pop back up for sale again in July and remain there until supplies last

All other products we are in good shape, including this run of valve covers, coil pack covers.

Coolant Tank Covers and Valve Covers.

Coolant tank covers will begin to ship the week of July 23rd; we are trying to move that in quicker but we are running both valve covers and coolant tanks concurrently on one machine.  We have started to ship satin machine finish valve covers now and those of you who needed an expedited delivery in color we got you and shipped you this past week. Thank you you will be blown away with the product we promise.

Finishes

We received our red back from June 12th and you can find your order below in the back from red product table.

We hope to be receiving one and perhaps two more rounds of plating and powder coat back before our awesome vendor partners shut down for the July 4th mini break next week. The following colors are still out and can be found on previous updates posted prior in June.

• Matte Red from June 18th
• Matte Black from June 18th
• Blue and Matte Blue from June 19th
• Clear anodize from June 26th
• Yellow from June 26th

Purple (Matte & Standard) and Polish have gone out for finish.

Today we sent out purple and matte purple as well as polish and you can find your order below to see if has gone out for finish. Please don’t panic if you don’t see your order or its out of order. There will be a bunch more stuff going out to finish within the week and if you didn’t go out it may be because we are waiting for something to finish machining so we can send it on out in one batch together.

Remember call us if you have any concerns or want to vent thats why we are here. We want you to be happy when you receive your BT parts not ready to come burn us down. Need expedited service please let us know so we can work towards your schedule if at all possible. Most of the time we can make it happen we just need you to talk to us.

Final Processes Lead Times and July 4th Maintenance

Finally did you see your order come back in? Please allow us 7-15 days to complete any assemblies or engravings. Next week will be a short week here chips only flying Monday and Tuesday. Thursday and Friday will be maintenance days here where we do a major overhaul and tear down of our equipment above and beyond the weekly and month routine. That means a top to bottom go through of everything. Calibrations checked etc.

We plan to double up the week of July 9th to keep that 7-15 day window on target. Need your parts sooner if they are back and you are coming up on a hard deadline reach out to us so we can get you taken care of.

Satin Catch Cans

Same goes with satin catch cans need it quicker than the two weeks to ship (we are almost back on target there too), call or email us so we can get you built and out the door. 1200 plus units are built and shipped here each month at our facility. Please know we are working quickly on all your products without compromising the quality of the parts. The same goes with our vendor partners we do not bog them down with too much stuff so lot runs stay consistent. We can always send more and do. Quality over quantity. Less headaches in the long run then.
