Manufacturing Update August 13, 2019

Welcome everyone and always our thanks for your support, trust and allowing us to be part of your ownership experiences. We are always thankful, and humbled, every day you allow us to go to work for you, and make  it“Your Ride Your Vision”.

Today’s update will be supplemental in nature, to let you know what has come back in, and gone out for finish. Stock status from Friday, August 9th update is still on point. ABS Covers are on the machine now from that update.

Octane Red is Back!

First things first yes, we have the Octane Red back! Thank you all so very much for being so patient this batch has been out starting since early June with additional add on’s over the weeks that followed.  It’s very much on point and a perfect match. Our supplier partners are exceptional at what they do, very meticulous and do a great job for us.

This is not a simple home depot spray gun job it’s spot on, no fluctuations, and you guys and gals who have waited will be very happy. We should not have any more issues moving forward on that color.

We also received the Matte Red from July 31st back today.

Polish, White and Titanium Batches Went Out

We did send small batches of white, polish, and titanium (both standard and matte finish) out today. Most of the titanium is for PCV Covers where we already shipped parts to our customers, and these were the final parts, for those orders, as we built inventory again. We will more than likely be adding into these batches next week for other orders. Please stay tuned when we come back to you on Monday of next week with a new update.

Batches Still Out for Finish

The following finishes are still out for processing. Chances are very good will be receiving some of these batches back this week. We will update you guys and gals on Monday, August 19th, or you can call in and talk to Alex this week for the verbal 411 too.

• Destroyer Grey from July 10th
• F8 Green from July 19th
• Copper all styles from July 31st
• Black from July 31st
• Matte black from August 6th
• Blue and Matte Blue from August 6th
• Lime Green from August 6th

Lead Time for Final Processes

If you see your order has come back in from finish please allow us 7-14 days to complete any final assemblies or processes such as engraving prior to shipping to your doorstep. Call us if you need us to get ya moved up in the queue.

Catch Cans

Satin catch cans are shipping in 1-5 days. Hellcat / Demon catch cans the exception but not for long, and there are no Hellcat or Demon cans outstanding prior to August 9th. We ran out of brackets for the Hellcat and Demon on the 8th. Material came in this morning and we are running them now. Shipments will resume in a couple days again as we get them off the machine, deburred and assembled.

All cans in general through August 9th, all styles, will be shipped in satin machine finish by the end of the week.

Team BT Heads to the Dream Cruise

That brings us to why will there be a week delay in the next update? Several of us are heading up to Michigan for the Dream Cruise this weekend. Our very own graphics master John is leaving for Michigan early tomorrow morning. He will be stopping in Cleveland, Ohio to pickup the BFNY Performance built, BadWagon: his blown and stroked Dodge Magnum. John will be laying down some rubber at the MSHS Event Friday afternoon and evening.

Nick Billet and Heidi will be flying on Thursday morning to join our friends to celebrate and enjoy the weekend. Team BT is returning to the motor city nearly a year to the day that we settled the ICE Website Seizures case with absolutely NO raids, NO large unmarked trucks loading things, up, and NO charges filed against the company or the principles of the company. This time we come home literally and can enjoy being in our hometown with friends and family.

The shop will remain open for normal business and in very good hands with chips flying as usual. At Team BT there is no boss, we are a Team of bosses that work together as one unit. No one person is above the other. Alex will be in the office to handle your calls, and answer all emails.
